Sonnet 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

William Shakespeare

God is Glorified by man’s dependence on him!!!!

“The redeemed have all their objective good in God. God himself is the great good which they are brought to the possession and enjoyment of by redemption. He is the highest good, and the sum of all that good which Christ purchased. God is the inheritance of the saints; he is the portion of their souls. God is their wealth and treasure, their food, their life, their dwelling place, their ornament and diadem, and their everlasting honor and glory. They have none in heaven but God; he is the great good which the redeemed are received to at death, and which they are to rise to at the end of the world. The Lord God, he is the light of the heavenly Jerusalem; and is the ‘river of the water of life’ that runs, and the tree of life that grows, ‘in the midst of the paradise of God’. The glorious excellencies and beauty of God will be what will forever entertain the minds of the saints, and the love of God will be their everlasting feast. The redeemed will indeed enjoy other things; they will enjoy the angels, and will enjoy one another: but that which they shall enjoy in the angels, or each other, or in anything else whatsoever, that will yield them delight and happiness, will be what will be seen of God in them.

Jonathan Edwards.

L in the Water Falls of Joy!!!

We took these pictures several weeks ago! I just realized i had not put them up….

The experience was actually hilarious.  We took the pics really fast because there was a guard in the vicinity who kept throwing us really mean looks and people were staring at us…

We were not sure “picture taking” was allowed in that area…oh well, mission accomplished  🙂

I will like to take this moment to give  “shout outs” to

L, who ignored the stares and gave me what I wanted

The guard, for not asking us to stop takings pictures

And lastly, to my darn self for being a

L and I… Outfit of the day!

It was surprisingly cold a few days back and, you know I had to rock a boot.

We had a service project with the ministry we serve with on that day and on our way back we decided to stop at the Mall to walk off the pizza we had consumed while working.

We window shopped and decided to capture the moment as well as our Outfits. Fun times!

Break all rules….Wear white after labor day!!!!

I don’t know who came up with the rule of not wearing white after labor day? but whoever you are…..  “sir/ma’am, please, kindly slap yourself over the head”. lol Just kidding.

Seriously, I love  wearing white. It just makes any and everything appear smarter and happier.

On a very random note, I can’t seem to stop listening to this song! Have a happy week ahead people 😉
