In the name of rose-tinted nostalgia….i dug through all my ish to find this gorgeous Naija dress.
I don’t know what it was, but something in the air vaguely reminded me of Hammatan in Abuja; the warmth and friendliness of the people. *sigh*
I love the Nigerian people. Their human spirit and energy tells a story of faith, hope, and love.
So, here is to Naija, the land of my Ancestors!
Dress: From Nigeria 🙂
Liu Wen in Zara F/W 12 collection! Isn’t she gorge?
The reason I love Zara is because they have perfected the “Boy meets girl” trend. If you love to play with androgynous fashion Zara gives you plenty of options. Their F/W 12 collection is no different. It’s all about Leather, spikes and black! and of course peplum….I love it 🙂
To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”

Ok, This was for Nasty Gals July look book. I know, July is over but, Ajak Deng looks absolutely stunning in this; especially in the orange number! Ajak is taking over the world of fashion and it seems they can’t get enough of her too. I love it… she is freakishly gorgeous 🙂
I’m a huge fan of Nasty Gal and I always stalk their blog. Their vintage collection is usually ah-ma-zing. Love this lookbook…Beautiful 🙂
