Musings of Dudu: For who knows mans journey?

For who knows mans journey?

Very fleeting, yet exhausting

For who knows mans journey?

His soul struggles on, yet he desires immortality…

For who knows mans journey?

Some say drink and make merry

for tomorrow we die

Yet, others still say, be cautious for tomorrow we die

Β L and her beautiful skirt πŸ™‚

Is mans journey here and now

or does here and now

have a resounding effect

in the here after.

  1. Man lives by ‘here and now’ because its the only thing thats cetain. Besides religious teachings, maybe the concepts of a hereafter/thereafter is mans attempt to bridge death with immortality.

BTW I like the trasitional effects of old & modern in the pics. Strangely (to me) it seems like a travel between the present to the future INSTEAD of the present to past. Weird imagination huh

    1. Thanks my dear! It’s nice that you noticed the transitional effect i was going for yay!!!!..

Hmmm i like your thoughts my friend πŸ™‚ I was going more for the present to the past or vice versa but now that you put it that way…it seems more appropriate! you deserve credit for that πŸ™‚

It is true that man lives for here and now because it is the only certainty…but how certain is man???
Is he really certain that when he enters his car to drive to work that he will get there? or that his building will not cave in while he sleeps at night? what certainty does he really have….save for the certainty of his imagination?

I believe in the concept of here after….life itself is cyclical. You are born, grow old, die and it repeats itself all over again….it tells me someone controls it all πŸ™‚
